Adults often learn best when…

  • Content is directly relevant, applicable, and practical
  • They are able to make some choices about how, what, and when they learn
  • Information is provided in multiple formats (written, audio, interactive)
  • Their life experience and what they already know is acknowledged
  • The learning has a clear purpose

So I create learning that…

  • Is easy to understand, simple, and focused on the most important content
  • Is organized into short pieces of learning, allowing for flexibility and time to process new information
  • When possible, includes beginning, intermediate, and more advanced content. This allows learners to start and progress in a way that is appropriate for each person.
  • Includes support materials for reference and review

About Me:

I design learning experiences. My work includes professional development, online courses, onboarding, and training materials. I am a creative problem solver who excels at taking complex information and making it easier to understand.

I have over twenty years of experience creating and leading professional learning experiences for adult learners. My career began with classroom teaching. An interest in educational technology and using assessment data led to a focus on designing and facilitating learning for adults. I thoroughly enjoy the process of developing engaging, creative learning materials, especially online courses.

Based in the United States (in the Mountain Time Zone), I am adept at working remotely with multiple teams, having worked remotely for most of the last twenty years.
